This case is made with full grain leather and as such is a little heavy on its own. It is clearly made to last.
All internal pockets are well padded and will easily hold a 15" laptop and iPad without bulging. Leather is matt and is designed to show marks and distress over time. I have found any scratches or marks that occur can easily be 'rubbed' out using a clean cloth or even your finger. The marks do add a uniqueness over time but I understand some will find this annoying.
It is strongly suggested to apply a good leather conditioner a few times in the beginning as this will help with both prolonging the life of the case and protection of the leather.
