2. How do I care for my men’s leather briefcase?

Leather briefcase care is important. Whilst our leather is built for the long haul, there are activities you can do to develop the patina and extend its life.

We recommend using a good leather conditioners on our high quality leather goods a couple of times per year. This helps to moisten the leather, prevent cracking and develop the patina to be richer.

A good leather cleaner should be used to wipe off stains, dirt and other contaminants. Be careful with any other chemicals as these can harm leather.

For the rivets and buckles, we recommend keeping these polished.

Always store your leather briefcase bag in a cool, dry place.

3. What do I do if my briefcase gets wet?

First, note that any quality leather handbag should stand up easily to standard rain and small amounts of water.

But, leather is water resistant, not waterproof. An extreme soaking or a large spillage can harm leather.

If your briefcase does get wet, we recommend stuffing it with newspaper and leaving it outside to air dry. Do not use artificial heat sources like lamps or radiators as this can crack the leather and harm its sustainability during drying.
