Great bag in general. One small issue - the shoulder pad on the over the shoulder strap is too narrow and too short. When the bag is overstuffed and heavy it is uncomfortable to carry long distances.

Great looking nice feel and apperance

My son has been using a ratty old gym bag for packing things when he comes to visit me. He is out of college and works in a professional job and I thought he definitely needed an upgrade (despite his protests to the contrary). He's not a kid anymore! So I got this for him and was thrilled that he actually liked it. The surprising feature to him was the shoe compartment. He likes that it is separate from his clothing and accessible from one of the side zippered pockets. He also likes that the bag fits in carry-on on a plane and is slightly roomier than his old gym bag. The leather is very supple and I'm guessing this bag will last him for a long time. It is very well made and looks casual, yet upscale. Another plus is that it is easy to pack and unpack with the top zipper opening in a U. I really love the function and appearance of this bag and while my son was not bothered by his worn-out gym bag, this one is really a step up and I know he likes it now that he has it! It's not something he would have bought for himself, but he likes that he has it so Yea for me getting a winner of a gift for him!
