Warranty Policy

We stand by the quality of our products.

That’s why every item from The Real Leather Co. is covered by a free 1-year limited warranty from the date of your order. Our warranty isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. If something goes wrong, we’ll make it right.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects or hardware issues that impact the functionality of your bag, including:

What’s Covered

  • Broken or faulty zippers
  • Buckles, clasps, or hardware that no longer function as intended
  • Loose stitching that causes compartments or straps to fail
  • Handles or shoulder straps that break or detach under normal use
  • Interior linings that tear prematurely or separate from the bag
  • Other structural issues that impair your ability to use the bag normally

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover cosmetic wear or damage that does not impact the bag’s functionality, such as:

  • Natural wear and tear of leather, including scratches or scuffs
  • Stains, discoloration, odors or water damage
  • Changes in texture or softness of leather over time
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper care
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Issues from overloading beyond intended use

How It Works

If you would like to start a warranty claim, please contact us. We’ll review your claim within 7 business days and determine the best resolution. Depending on the issue, we may:

  1. Send a replacement part
  2. Send a replacement part and reimburse you for any local repair costs
  3. Replace the product entirely

We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate resolution for each case.

Additional Notes

  • All shipping costs for warranty replacements are covered by us
  • Warranty coverage is valid for 1 year from your original order date.
  • If your item is replaced, the warranty period does not reset.
  • If your product is no longer in stock, we may offer a store credit or similar product of equal value.
  • Approved repairs or replacements typically ship within 5–10 business days depending on availability.
  • Warranty claims are valid on all orders after May 2 2025.
